Description
Stop Replacing Rusted Light Poles
Rusted light poles can be repaired in 30 minutes, with one technician and no welder or crane. The kit bolts to the anchor bolts in the footing and light pole above rust damage, repairing the light pole. The Pole Repair Kits bridges the rusted section of the light pole, creating a permanent repair.
Installing the Pole Repair Kit
Replace the existing anchor nuts with the Thread Extenders and set the brace on the Thread Extenders. Install new nuts and washers, and tighten the nuts. Drill holes into the pole, using the pole brace as a template. Install and tighten the box bolts. Now your pole is repaired and engineered to be as strong as it was when new.
We recommend installing a Light Pole Systems Base Cover over Pole Repair Kits to create uniformity throughout your property, and to cover all base hardware. Like light poles that require a base cover, the Pole Repair Kits require a base cover to increase public safety.

Versatile, Rugged Design
Expanded Base (Included on PRK, Not available for RTPRK)
Equipped with elongated anchor bolt holes to accept a range of bolt-circle measurements, our Expanded Base is engineered to be used with damaged anchor bolts. Five extra bolt holes outside the standard anchor bolt pattern are used with additional anchor bolts epoxied into the footing. In order to use this solution, the footing must be structurally sound. With the additional anchor bolts, the damaged ones become obsolete. The PRK4” pole brace’s additional holes are on a 12“ bolt circle, and the PRK5“ pole brace’s additional holes are on a 14 1/4“ bolt circle.
Box Bolt
A box bolt secures the pole brace to the light pole, above any rust damage. The box bolt expands when tightened, much like a rivet. The hex head of the box bolt breaks off at 59 ft./lbs., leaving a permanent, tamper-resistant finish.
Galvanized Construction
The Pole Repair Kit is galvanized, giving it the highest corrosion protection on the market. Most pole failure is due to rust caused by water from landscape irrigation, reclaimed water, and drypack. The galvanized finish of the pole brace gives the repaired pole all the corrosion-resistant properties of an expensive galvanized pole, without the cost.
We recommend installing a Light Pole Systems Base Cover over Pole Repair Kits to create uniformity throughout your property, and to cover all base hardware. Like light poles that require a base cover, the Pole Repair Kits require a base cover to increase public safety.
